so i was thinking of all the music i listen to last night and i decided to list my top 10 favorite albums.
ill try to do it i order.
10. Elysia - Masochist. Always provides a good laugh and is also good stuff when you're angry.
9. Darkest Hour - Deliver Us. Always puts me in a good mood. Probably my favorite band.
8. Linkin Park - Meteora. I listened to this 24/7 my first time in Hawaii. Will always remind me of Hawaii.
7. Explosions in the Sky - The Earth is Not a Cold Dead Place. This album really makes me think about things. Can make me very happy or sad.
6. Bring Me the Horizon - Pray for Plagues. Oli. Enough said.
5. Queens of the Stone Age - Lullabies to Paralyze. Songs on this mean a lot to me.
4. Russian Circles - Enter. Best instrumental band ever.
3. The Devil Wears Prada - Plagues. Probably my most listened to album.
2. Darkest Hour - Undoing Ruin. My first favorite metal album. Still listen to it 3 years later.
1. Fear Before the March of Flames - The Always Open Mouth. Work of art.

i thought a lot about life today. to me its just one event after another. it consists of always having something in the future to look forward to whether near or far. it could be growing up and getting married or it could be hanging out with someone the next day. whatever it is there is almost always something to look forward to, usually the things in the near future drive your life the most. i dont know if its just me but when there is nothing in the near future i feel very empty. like i have nothing to do with myself and i really hate having that feeling. i spend every day looking forward to something and when something happens to make the event not happen i get depressed. im not alone on this one but i wish everything could happen when i wanted. but their are so many other individuals who also have minds with different goals that can prevent these things from happening. this may sound pathetic but im going to be blunt. theres something ive been waiting for to happen almost my whole senior year. i dont know when it will or if it ever will and it absolutely kills me not knowing when it will happen. there are so many other options that would be better for everyone else and maybe myself but i know this is what i want and ive put so much time and effort into i cant fathom it not happening. its so hard with such different personalities and feelings involved. ive learned so much this year and it will affect me for the rest of my life. everyone has big events that affect their lives in their teenage years and this is definitely mine. i know for a fact that this summer will bring me closure of the past year in one way or another and honestly it couldnt come any sooner. in a little over 2 months i will be headed to college and a whole new life. im interested to see which parts of my current life manage to come with me this new chapter of mine.
